We snooped around for some fun facts as Voting continues and here's what we found.

You'd be surprised at what lies behind our fine ladies nominated for Best Supporting Actress at this year's AMVCA and because we love surprising you, we put this together for you:

Dorcas Shola-Fapson: Banana Island Ghost

After her secondary school education, Dorcas gained admission into the university where she graduated with a degree in Criminology. Owkaaay girl!

Ebele Okaro: Blackrose

She has acted in more 250 Nollywood movies but also worked in an embassy in Lagos and later in a bank before returning to acting. There's no running away from the calling :-)

Emem Inwang: Alter Ego

She's married to Nollywood producer/director Moses Inwang, which means she gets to practice her lines at home with her personal director. Nice!

Funlola Aofiyebi-Raimi: Tatu

She has a BSc in Sociology and is fondly known as FAR. Imagine that! 

Lydia Forson: Isoken

An advocate for human rights as evident on her self-titled website here http://lydiaforson.com/ where she tackles issues of sexuality, abuse and other social issues. You should honeslty see her blog. Remarkable!

Toyin Abraham: Tatu

This Marketing graduate began acting in 2003, when Bukky Wright, a Nigerian film actress, visited Ibadan to shoot a movie where Toyin was working on set. Over the years, she has produced, directed and featured in several Nigerian films. A chance meeting gone right!
