Riding at an unmatched velocity and carving for herself a respectable professional image in these Nollywood streets is none other than Ade Laoye. Born into and almost always served rhythmic and theatrical niceties, this Nigerian beauty’s palate oozes potential in more than just a few ways.

A theatre Arts graduate from the esteemed Pennsylvania State University, USA, Ade Laoye’s resume boasts the Arden Theatre Company, the Walnut Street Theatre and  Playbill magazine as rock solid references; so It wouldn’t be too careless of us to sum Ade up as having already lived a huge chunk of her ‘American dream’.

Having drank from different industry calabashes, Ade Laoye made her overdue Nollywood debut just 5 years ago and has since landed roles on some of Nollywood’s biggest and most successful productions - a list too vast to dissect.  When asked which of these aided in propelling her to such heights, Ade named tele-series, Hush as her most lethal ‘I’ve arrived’ weapon, and boy did she arrive hard.

Good old Uti just had to launch a ‘do you have a bae’ probe on our guests but got served his own cup’s contents when Ade effortlessly brushed the issue off and reminded us what a fine girl she is - we know you all concur!

Be it stage or big screen offerings, we will be cheering on as Ade and other phenomenal Nollywood personalities grow in leaps and bounds. Missed out on this week’s offering of Jara, check out Ade’s interview with Sir Uti.
