There was an air of relaxation in the House pre-party and it looked like the Housemates were expecting the same old drill. Outfits, party preps, dancing; the usual really. However, the general mood in the House went from normal to slightly electric when the Housemates finally received their themed outfits and a few picture of the ex-Housemates. After a day oozing rewards and buckets of fun, they knew that the night ahead promised a good time and boy were they served.

Propping, Prepping and Dressing

Right after propping the party room up, the Housemates dove right into their preparations, clearly excited to try on their Middle Eastern inspired outfits. We guess it’s true what they say about clothes, the ‘power tie’ is a real thing. Often used in the masculine fashion equation; the notion basically describes just how much ‘mood power’ clothing items have over us. Well, it must be true because as per usual and probably slightly more this time around, the Housemates were like kids in a candy store. Looking like a million Dollars in their langotas, dhotis, sarees and loincloths; all that was missing were a couple of gold bars and desert sand.

Party Chemistry

When we listen to music, multiple areas of the brain are activated including those associated with movement, planning, attention and memory. It changes our brain chemistry so much so that it seems like we’re voluntarily stuck in a trance. Thanks to Nigerian-Hungarian super star Dj Sose and his mixes that included the names of all the remaining Housemates and a play list that included Teddy A and Rico Swavey’s tracks, the Housemates were certainly the elements, the music was the organic reactant and the Deejay was without a doubt the catalyst and brought us an explosive Saturday night party. As per usual Anto and Alex brought their A games and the other Housemates couldn’t help but follow, well-rehearsed and almost perfectly synchronised, the Housemates certainly put up a show and just like us, this is one party they will never forget.
