Breaking News: Another season 5 voting twist

News
30 August 2020
In another season 5 twist, Big Brother has introduced a change in the voting system. From tonight’s Sunday Night Live Eviction Show henceforth, the Lockdown Housemates will no longer Vote for the Housemate (s) for possible eviction from the four who polled the least votes.
Twist

We are halfway through season 5 of the biggest Big Brother Naija yet and Biggie has decided to turn things up a notch...again. He has introduced another twist in how voting will work for the rest of the season.

The power is solely in the fans’ hands

Biggie has always reiterated that the final word when it comes to who wins the N85 million prize rests solely in the power of the fans and this mid-season twist is a show of just that. There are four more Sunday Night Live Eviction Shows including tonight before the finale, and this move marks yet another game-changing dynamic.

Far-reaching consequences

This change will no doubt have far-reaching consequences as Housemates will no longer be able to influence who goes and who stays in Biggie’s House. Big Brother has made the move to withdraw their power to Evict. How this change will manifest itself in the way Lockdown Housemates relate will only be seen and felt as the finale draws near. This gives you even more reason to keep your subscription up to date and your eyes glued to the show.

What Biggie said

Before signing out of the Live Eviction Show, Ebuka made an important announcement stating that: "Starting from tomorrow - Monday 31 September - Big Brother will introduce a Nomination process for the House. Housemates will be invited into the Diary Room to nominate fellow Housemates."

Stay tuned to find out how it all goes down as well who will occupy the HoH and DHoH seats amongst Dorathy, Lucy, Nengi, Vee, Laycon, Neo, Prince, and Trikytee. Ozo is not legible as he's coming from a win in week five and Erica and Kiddwaya are still under punishment for their disregard of Biggie's rules.
