Two Talent got FOUR CHAIR TURNS from the Coaches during the first episode of Season 2. What a way to start the Season!

Four chair turns basically means all the four Coaches would like that particular Talent to join their Team and they then lobby the Talent to join their Team.

The duo, 22-year-old high school teacher Emmanuel Precious and 19-year-old student Favour Idugbe could hardly believe their eyes when they saw the Coaches’ turn. The former literally fell to his knees on stage, while the latter covered her mouth in disbelief.

Wearing a green checked-shirt and blue jeans, Emmanuel Precious started the nights’ performances with Destiny’s Child song titled “Survivor”. The energy in his performance was amazing! Timi turned just as he sang the chorus. Waje and Yemi joined thereafter and they all stood on their feet, clearly enjoying the performance. Patoranking was the last to turn and the audience went wild!

Timi went up on stage to him, saying; “This boys’ voice can raise the dead! The Coaches then went into lobby mode, as Waje told the Talent that she needed someone like him on her Team, while Timi added that he too was a survivor. There was a lot of back and forth lobbying from all the Coaches and it was only after a while that the Talent chose to be on #TeamTimi.

Excited Timi ran up to the stage and tried to carry the Talent on his back, sending the audience into stitches with laughter. It was evident that Timi had taken a liking to Emmanuel, as he also asked him to sit on his chair and in addition to that, he gave him a nickname: ‘Fluffy-Presh’.

Scooping the second FOUR CHAIR TURN for the night with her beautiful rendition of Ms Jaie’s “Kilon Popping”, 19-year-old Favour Idugbe had Timi turning just as she started singing the chorus. Waje and Yemi followed closely and Patoranking turned just at the end of the song. Lobbying the Talent to join his Team, Timi said he believed in her long before anyone else did.

All Patoranking did was just do the ‘dab’ and ask the Talent to join his Team. Meanwhile, Waje added that part of the competition was to learn and her Team offered this. Afrer all the lobbying, the Talent picked Patoranking and he gladly went up to the stage to hug her thereafter, did his signature dance ‘aah hey’, much to the amusement of the audience.

There were other Talent that came close to these two, with 3 chair turns and if the performances were anything to go by, one can look forward to more brilliant performances this Season.
