These dashing melanin kings had people swooning and throwing marriage proposals in the comments of their instagrams before The Voice Nigeria had even wrapped! Thirst no more, because now we're all getting treated to more screen time! Â
Chike plays Mayowa Bhadmus, the youngest son of Chief Bhadmus who's also a serial drinker, hedonist and spoilt brat. That said, he's handsome (duh) has a clever wit and his shocking antics make for some pretty good television so it's no wonder he's already endeared himself to fans of the show.Â
Chike became an instant favourite for millions watching when he auditioned with James Arthur's 'Roses' and got all four coaches to not only turn their chairs but give him a standing ovation. To this day, his audition remains the most watched performance from Season 1Â of The Voice Nigeria raking in nearly 1 Million Views on YouTube. His popularity never waned either and he made it all the way to the finale becoming the runner up and an ambassador for Airtel!
Also hailing from team Patoranking is Nonso Bassey who plays Dr Emeka Kalu. He's a young physician who returns to Nigeria after spending time abroad before getting embrawled in a messy love triangle with his former flame, 'Teni' and her new bae 'Michael' played by Ozzy Agu. Nonso made it all the way to the Top 8 on the show beating out hundreds of other hopefuls. He also recently had the great honour of opening for the one and only Asa at her critically lauded concert in Lagos last month. (April) He hit the stage with nothing but his guitarist backing him up too. A testament to his incredible vocal prowess.
