The other side of The Voice: The glitz and glamour

News

The Coaches, host, V-Reporter and Talent show us how to dress us for the country’s biggest music show.

Much as The Voice Nigeria is after all, about the Voice, there’s also a side to it that brings “colour” to the show. That’s the fashion side of it.

From the Coaches, Patoranking, Timi, Waje and Yemi to host IK Osakioduwa, V-Reporter Stephanie Coker and the Talent, we’ve seen some amazing outfits so far this Season.

In the first episode, our Coaches were dressed to the nines during their opening performance, with Waje in a little blue ‘number’, Yemi in a cowgirl inspired outfit and Timi wearing a grey agbada, while Patoranking opted for a street-smart look.

A quick wardrobe change and bam, they returned, with more dazzling outfits. Waje wore a black blazer with a crystal touch to it and equally matching pants, plus stilettos. Completing her dazzling look, she wore silver drop earrings. Yemi wore a bright red Asian inspired pants suit, with stilettos and finished off her look with matching diamond choker and earrings.

Timi opted for a more smart-casual look, with black pants, a white shirt and tie and complete his look with a blue denim jacket. Meanwhile, Patoranking wore a black agbada and a black and white hat.

Don’t get me started on our host, IK and V-Reporter! They’re always dressed the part, with Stephanie in a floral shirt with cream pants and IK looking all sorts of hunky in his blue tailored suit.

The Talent on the show didn’t want to be outdone, as they too came dressed the part for the auditions. We saw Zora Julius in a pink/blue/black dress, matched with black heels and Olanrewaju Omowa was dressed in cream pants and a black off-the-shoulder top.

Several other Talent rocked amazing outfits and one can only imagine the different styles we are yet to see on the show, as the search for the country’s best vocalist continues.
