Ebuka, Desmond Elliot of the ONE Campaign and Serah Makka, the ONE Campaign Nigeria Country Director, were on stage to announce that Bisola was the winner of the ONE Campaign Task the Housemates took part in a few weeks back. They discussed the shocking statistics of how few girls are going to school in Africa. Desmond kicked things off by acknowledging everyone watching - "Hello Naija! How you doing? It is a great pleasure to be here at the Big Brother Naija Finale representing the ONE campaign." Serah, in her ONE Campaign shirt spoke about her great pleasure at working "hand in hand" with Big Brother on the ONE Campaign which brings awareness to the shocking state of girls' education in Nigeria.
They were informative in their presentation stating that "130 million girls are out of school globally." They rattled off some alarming statistics regarding girls education levels in the world and it was this that Bisola was going to learn about more as she was told by Serah that she was joining such luminaries as
Desmond carried on, "Please see your screens for the winner of the Back to School Task, who will be joining ONE to add their voice to the Campaign, which advocates to have more Girls in Schools. They will join ONE at the UN General Assembly in New York later in September" where Bisola will join ONE Ambassadors, such as Omotola, Desmond Elliot, Waje, Ali Nuhu, D’banj, Yemi Alade, Banky W and many others to attend policy meetings with Nigerian policy makers. This will be where policies to empower and educate the girl child will be discussed. The new Queen of Entertainment would then have the further honour of reporting back her findings from their trip to the Nigerian public.
Desmond then added that ONE Campaign was running a viewers competition saying, "Viewers at home, you too can be a winner. From tonight, for 10 weeks, ONE will be giving away a ONE hamper filled with ONE goodies. All you have to do is join the Housemates, myself, Omotola, 19 Waje and Ali Nuhu by creating a Girls Count video. Winners would be announced every Thursday.
