It’s all about comedy and drama as Flatmates and Jemeji premiere on Africa Magic Showcase (DStv 151)!

March, Lagos.

On the 6th of March 2017, DStv viewers across Africa will welcome two new and exciting shows to their screens as Africa Magic premieres Flatmates and Jemeji. The new shows will be available on Africa Magic Showcase (DStv 151).

Flatmates is a sitcom that follows the antics and day to day lives of four young men living together in a flat. The show features some of Nigeria’s leading comedians including Basketmouth, Buchi, Okey Bakassi, Wofai Dada, Yaw, and the former Mr. Nigeria Emmanuel Ikubese, amongst others.

Jemeji, a telenovela, tells the story of a young medical doctor who returns home after studying abroad and is excited to be posted to a village to work. What however seems like a dream come true soon becomes a nightmare without end as family and childhood secrets begin to unravel.

The Director, M-Net West Africa, Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu, said: “The Africa Magic channels continue to provide the best African entertainment content out of Africa. Flatmates bring together some of Africa’s biggest names in comedy with hilarious consequences. I urge lovers of comedy to tune in weekdays to catch both shows.”

Jemeji airs weekdays at 10:00 PM (Nigerian time) whilst Flatmates airs every weekday at 6.30pm (Nigerian time) with repeat episodes at 9.30pm (Nigerian time).
