Choc City’s Vicky drops first single

Chocolate City Kenya’s first lady Victoria Kimani will drop her debut single under the budding record label on Friday, 15 February.

Called Mtoto, which means baby in Swahili, the song is said to be a fun but assertive track about a young girl spurning the advances of an older man.

The official cover art for the track, produced by Chopstix, was released recently with Victoria looking sizzling.

She is expected back in Kenya from LA sometime this quarter to start promoting her brand new single and establish the face of Choc City Kenya.

The husky voiced star has been in and out of Nairobi for the past two years, trying to test the waters and looking to fill an obvious gap in the female R'n'B segment.

Often associated with her elder brother, renowned rapper Bamboo, Victoria is an established song writer and has worked with US based Senegalese star Akon under his Konvict record label.
