Actor Femi Brainard attributes his success in the entertainment industry to never putting anything before his family. The Deadly Plot actor says he is most grateful for the gift of life and knowing that no situation in life is hopeless.

We had a chat with him about a range of topics including what his avid fans don’t know about him!

What are some of your plans for this year?

There are two major things which I am planning this year and that is to shoot a film this year and most of all do a fund raiser for children living with cancer.

What is the one thing that your fans don’t know about you?

The one thing my fans don’t know about me is that when home, I prefer a plastic bowl to eat in than a plate. Reason being that I dey hate to dey chase food on top flat plate with spoon. But inside a bowl, I go just catch am for corner…he laughs!

When you’re at home how do you unwind?

When home I watch TV; work on proposals and movie scripts.

What advice do you have for an upcoming actor who idolizes you and your work about the film industry?

My sincere advice to up and incoming actors is to be certain they know what they are getting into, love what they are getting into and be serious about it. Secondly, they shouldn’t go into the film industry looking for fame. They won’t find it. If they go into the film industry to sincerely work, fame will find them. Thirdly, acting no longer pays bills. Augment it with being a producer and other contracts.

What projects are you currently working on?

At the moment, I’m marketing an event which hopefully will mature by June this year.
