Port Harcourt’s first son, Duncan Mighty is ready with a new album.
He is calling it Footprints and it is an 18-track album. It also contains collaborations with US-Jamaican born music star, Shaggy, Timaya, Wande Coal and Sandaz Black.
All songs were produced by Duncan Mighty and the album is set to be released on Monday, 10 October.
There are rumours that the marketing rights of the album have been purchased by renowned Alaba marketer, Ahbu Ventures, for N15 million, but Duncan refused to comment on this when we chatted with him.
"I just want all my fans to get ready for the best of me so far and go out and purchase copies of the album from any seller, reseller or vendor when it drops on Monday."
Since his arrival on the Nigerian music scene in the late 90s, Duncan has been a force to reckon with. He made his name as a producer and has worked with the biggest musical names from the eastern parts of Nigeria.
His song Port Harcourt Boy was a runaway hit.
Duncan is still fully based in Port Harcourt City where he has built a mega music studio and cruises around town with exotic cars, which all bear the same customised plate: Port Harcourt 1st Son.
