By Peju Akande A couple of weeks ago, Naeto C and MI were unveiled as the faces of Hennessy Artistry for 2012.
The buzz was cranked up with the announcement of the imminent release of a theme song, a collaborative effort between the two wave-making rappers.
Both artists lived up to expectations with the release of Bartender. The single is an up-tempo club song produced by TY Mix, renowned music producer and a judge on MTN’s Project Fame.
TY Mix who was formally based in Abuja was responsible for Naeto C's monster hits, Kini Big Deal, 10/10 and 5 & 6. He has also produced for the likes of Darey (Carry Dey Go), Sasha (Adara) and Praiz (Jekalo).
Bartender will be performed formally on stage at an event being put together by organisers of Hennessey Artistry on the 16th of August at Villa Piccasso on Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Victoria Island.
Hennessy Artistry has in the space of five years become one of the most eagerly anticipated musical events on the year. It is responsible for boosting the careers of musical stars like Ice Prince, Bez and Mo Cheddah.
Last year's theme song, Toast To The Good Life was recorded by eLDee and Banky W.
