Award-winning actress, Funke Akindele aka Jenifa has won the Best Crossover Actress accolade at the Global News Awards for Excellence.

Funke is not new to winning awards, having won many for her versatility and creativity both at home and outside the Nigerian shores.

The Global News Award is not her first from a soft-sell - she won the City People’s Best Yoruba Movie Actress Award last year.
