After a long silence, Tanzanian artist Lady Jaydee has returned to the spotlight, featuring in the video for Ali Kiba's new track, Single Boy.Over the past few months Jaydee has been on a professional hiatus in order to spend more time focusing on her personal life. In the song, Ali Kiba, who was part of the iconic One 8 Group, says he will stay a ‘single boy’ because there are so many women available.
Jaydee interjects that most women get tired of living with men who are more interested in being ‘single’ even when they are in relationships.
The song is a cheeky look at the problems faced by men who insist on living as ‘single boys’ – a common phenomenon among East Africa’s younger population.
