DJ Cleo is easily one of the most talented house music producers in the continent.
He has been working his magic from as young as the age of ten, though he only got professional in 1995, when he started producing music.
On a recent trip to Nairobi, the singer/producer/DJ said he disagrees with being likened to European techno big shot, DJ David Guetta.
“Not yet. Not yet. The time will come,” he told entertainment website Capital Lifestyle.
He was on tour in Nairobi last weekend with the latest signing to his production house, the Teddy Bears.
Cleo confessed that he is focused right now on staying relevant in the music industry as he works towards one day being as good as Canadian producer David Foster.
Foster, who has won 15 Grammy Awards, has produced musicians like Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion and Madonna among a host of others.
