Nigeria’s undisputed King of the contemporary music scene, Innocent “2Face” Idibia, has welcomed another addition to his ever expanding family.

On Easter Sunday, 8 April Pero Adeniyi, one of the three mothers of his children, gave birth to a baby boy in the USA.

It is their third child together, and brings the total of 2Face’s children to six.

2Face’s camp had in January this year made public the news that Pero was expecting another baby, and entertainment buffs in the country had expected another announcement declaring her the preferred among his three “baby mamas” to become his wife.

But that wasn’t to be as 2Face went on to propose to Annie Macaulay on Valentine’s Day.

2Face is one of the biggest names in the Nigerian music industry.

His career spans beyond a decade counting his time with the Plantashun Boiz to his going solo. Among his many honours, is the fact that he was the first Nigerian artist to win the Best African Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2005.

The music video for his hit track, African Queen features his fiancée, Annie Macaulay, and is among the top ten greatest African songs according to the BBC.

He is currently working on a new album which will be released this year.
